“Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of thy Lord.”
On behalf of Jason Schneider, Worshipful Master of Phoenicia Lodge No. 58, F.&A.M., it becomes my sad duty to report to you that “Doc” passed away on the afternoon of December 18th, 2012. W.Bro. Randy Smith visited the family today to offer the family sympathies and support on behalf of Phoenicia masons, wheresoever dispersed.
We do not know the details of Doc’s passing at this time, nor at this early point do we have any information concerning funeral services. However, we ask that all Phoenicia brethren keep the Evans family in their hearts and prayers and also that they makes themselves ready, should we be called upon, to perform our final duty to our departed Brother with the solemnities of the Craft.
As soon as additional, meaningful information comes to us, we will notify you as quickly as we can.

Senior Warden – Phoenicia Lodge No. 58 F.&A.M.

Stated meeting tonight with visitors from Mesa Oriental 20. See you at 6:00
Congratulations Bro. Bob on your being passed to the Fellow Craft degree in such short order. Your hard work is evident and appreciated. We all truly enjoy your company and wish you nothing but the best in the future as you progress in your Masonic education. Well done. Congratulations also go out to Bro. Glenn Van Steeter for his “amazing” second degree lecture. I truly aspire to give a lecture like that someday. I’ll trade you photography lessons for lecture lessons any day. You rocked it Brother. And, of course, congrats to all of the Brethren who participated in tonight’s degree, as well as Worshipful Bro. Sampson of the Grand Lodge. Brothers, the ritual was good. But I know we can do even better.

Great odds on getting an Ipad 2 for ten bucks! Need not be present to win. For more info, contact Jason at: firstname.lastname@example.org
The information I have been given is sketchy… but here is what I’ve got.
Bro. Phil Hollifield was admitted to John C. Lincoln North hospital last week. Apparently he needed several pints of blood. It has been suggested that any brothers who are willing to donate blood in his name that we can reduce the cost of his hospital stay. I’m told that Bro. Phil’s blood type is A+. I will try to get more confirmed information soon.
As I understand it, if you donate blood for a particular person, you do not necessarily need to have the same blood type. They will credit him just the same.
Congratulations to all of the Brethren who have been elected as officers of Phoenicia Lodge #58 for 2012

Yearly elections will be held tomorrow at the Stated meeting. Make sure you are there to get your votes in.
A recent visit to Acacia Lodge No. 42 in Avondale proved to be an interesting and enjoyable evening. The Brethren truly made me feel welcome and I look forward to their visit to Phoenicia 58 in the near future. While the trek out to Avondale from North Central Phoenix is a bit of a drive, [complete with gnarly dust storm] there were 2 guests that made a longer journey to get to the lodge. I’m guessing that “Romania” wins in the “wow, that was a long trip” category. Thank you Acacia Brethren for your warm welcome, excellent Brotherhood and, the outstanding food.
